JOB TITLE: Room Service Server

REPORTS TO: F&B Manager/ Restaurant Supervisor

BASIC PURPOSE: Responsible for set-up, delivery and retrieval all food and beverage orders to guest rooms while ensuring quality service, guest satisfaction and adherence to brand standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Set-up and deliver all food and beverage orders in accordance with established guidelines, procedures and policies as prescribed by both property and brand standards.

  1. Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve all food and beverage trays in order to maintain established sanitation guidelines.

  1. Set-up and deliver all VIP amenities.

  1. Service all hospitality suites in accordance with BEO and established policy and procedures.

  1. Complete all shift side work as outlined in the department's operating policies and procedures.

  1. Respond to customer needs, issues, comments and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales. Report all communications to immediate shift supervisor.

  1. Perform all cash handling responsibilities in accordance with property accounting policies and procedures.

  1. Maintain inventory of needed supplies.

  1. Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Education: Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Experience: One year of employment in a related field with this company or other organization(s) preferred but not necessary. Experience with restaurant POS system preferred.

Skills /Abilities: English communication skills. Advanced hospitality skills.

No. of employees supervised: None.

Travel required: None.

Hours Required: Requires 30 hours plus weekly. Scheduled hours and days may vary based on need.
