  • Must have forklift certification. Other heavy construction equipment experience is a plus.

  • Reports To: Manager or Production Manager

    Teams With: Estimators and Project Managers

    Directs: Shop/Yard Helper

  • Responsible for managing inventory, maintaining equipment, organizing materials need for jobs sold and loading installation trucks for the days job(s), while focusing on the company’s mission of “Providing quality fence installations and build relationships that last a lifetime.”

  • Must have a positive can-do attitude daily.
  • Demonstrate the Seegars Fence Company Core Values daily.
  • Must maintain a First Aid, CPR, safety, forklift and Bobcat certifications (and others required for equipment operation)
  • Assist in maintaining truck and equipment fleet.
  • Maintain an orderly yard and warehouse
  • Unload incoming materials and supplies, verify the quantity and condition of the goods and fill out incoming freight sheet.
  • Pull and stage materials for sold jobs in designated staging areas.
  • Load installation trucks with materials required for daily work load.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure.
  • Shall dress appropriately with SFC uniform or T Shirt.
  • Is responsible for arriving to work on time, prepared to start immediately.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and record the meets SFC insurance standards for driving company vehicles.
  • Perform monthly fire extinguisher inspections and document tag accordingly.
  • Perform fence repairs and installations in the field as needed.
  • Perform small repairs to tools and equipment.
  • Every applicant must undergo pre-employment background check and drug screen. If hired, Updates are required annually.
