Job DescriptionJob Description

Sun State International Trucks is currently seeking experienced Mobile Diesel Technicians for our dealerships in Tampa, Sarasota and Davenport, Florida. Our ideal candidate is skilled in major repairs, engine diagnostics, and electrical systems.

As an experienced mobile diesel technician – you know the job. We expect you to be able to accurately evaluate repairs and complete repairs in a timely manner.

Hourly rate is based on experience and technicians are eligible for a monthly efficiency bonus. As an employee of Sun State, you’ll be eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short- and Long-term disability insurance and our 401K retirement plan with employer match.

Required Education, Licenses, and Skills:

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Class A, B and C Diesel Mechanic; All Makes-- International, Volvo, Mack, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Cummins Engines, Detroit Diesel Motors

· Valid Driver's License with CDL

· Ability to Meet Physical Requirements

· The physical activity while performing the duties of this job regularly requires the employee to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers, talk, hear, or see, stoop, crouch, and kneel.

· The employee must have manual dexterity sufficient to work with hands and fingers

· Well-lighted area with constant exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
