Your primary responsibility will be to create a safe and nurturing environment for our young learners. As the ideal candidate, you must possess strong knowledge of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to design engaging lesson plans that inspire children to thrive in their environment. Effective communication skills are also crucial to meeting the children's needs, guiding teacher assistants, and addressing parental concerns. Duties

  • Knowledgeable of Georgia GELDS. Develop and implement lesson plans that incorporate engaging activities that are developmentally appropriate and meet each child's needs.
  • Plan individual and group activities to stimulate cognitive, language, social, emotional, and motor skills growth.
  • Conduct Parent Teacher Conferences
  • Daily operations of the classroom and meeting all state guidelines and requirements.
  • Supervises teacher assistants and classroom volunteers to ensure they are following planned activities, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Participates in required training programs, conferences, courses, or other aspects of professional growth.
  • Greet children and parents/guardians professionally and enthusiastically each day.
  • Maintain a happy, sanitary, safe, secure, and relaxed atmosphere in the classroom by following daily procedures and routines.


Requirements

At least 1-year experience working in a childcare center setting.
18 years or older
High school diploma or GED
Must pass a criminal background check
CPR/First Aid certified
Must be able to maintain physical activity with young children
Must have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of child development
Able to lift 35 lbs throughout the day
Strong written and communication skills.

Early Childhood Education:
TCC, Diploma, or CDA
Master's Bachelor's or Associates degree in early childhood education
