SUMMARY

As the Logistics Director, you will oversee our end-to-end logistics processes across multiple sales channels. This pivotal role involves strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of logistics functions to ensure seamless operations, cost efficiency, and exceptional customer service across different business models.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and implements comprehensive logistics strategies for E-commerce, B2B, B2C, and BM channels.
  • Creates and manages the logistics budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Conducts market analysis and forecasts logistical requirements to support growth and scalability.
  • Oversees warehousing, inventory management, and distribution activities across multiple channels.
  • Ensures efficient and timely fulfillment of orders, managing the entire order-to-delivery process.
  • Implements best practices in inventory control to minimize costs and maximize availability.
  • E-commerce: Optimizes last-mile delivery, returns management, and packaging solutions to enhance customer experience.
  • B2B: Ensures timely and accurate delivery of bulk orders, manages freight logistics and maintains strong supplier relationships.
  • B2C: Focuses on customer-centric delivery solutions, manages seasonal demand fluctuations, and ensures high service levels.
  • Brick-and-Mortar: Coordinates with logistics for physical stores, including replenishment, stock transfers, and in-store inventory management.
  • Implements and manages advanced logistics software systems to streamline operations across all channels.
  • Ensures seamless integration of e-commerce platforms, ERP, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Develops and maintains strategic relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers.
  • Negotiates contracts and service-level agreements, ensuring cost-effectiveness and high service standards.
  • Leads and mentors the logistics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Sets clear performance goals, conducts regular evaluations, and provides training and development opportunities.
  • Establishes and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess logistics performance across all channels.
  • Prepares and presents detailed reports on logistics operations, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Ensures compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Identifies potential risks in the logistics process and develops mitigation strategies.
  • Maintaining a customer-first approach ensures that logistics operations contribute to a positive customer experience.
  • Addresses and resolves customer inquiries and issues related to logistics promptly and effectively.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics and supply chain management software.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with E-commerce platforms, ERP systems, and WMS.
  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with international logistics and global supply chain management.
  • The role demands the ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in logistics, with at least five years in a leadership role, preferably in multi-channel retail operations.
