Summary

Kids Cribs is seeking a full-time pre-kindergarten teacher for a four- and five-year-old classroom. Prior preschool teaching experience is required.

Duties

  • Maintain at a minimum a 3 Star level classroom
  • Implement Creative Curriculum
  • Develop weekly lesson plans and monthly newsletter
  • Conduct observations and assessments
  • Perform ASQ screenings, as needed
  • Schedule twice annual parent teacher conferences
  • Possess strong classroom management skills
  • Ability to lead and direct assistant teachers
  • Responsible for maintaining classroom resources and completing classroom assessments using ECERS
  • Attend required staff meetings


Requirements

  • High School Diploma. CDA or ECE Degree preferred.
  • Current Negative TB Test
  • Pass a state and federal background check
  • Ability to work an early shift and stay later if needed, on occassion
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Job requires lifting, bending, reaching, and requires ability to see and hear clearly.
