Shift Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Implement and monitor physical therapy interventions to improve patients' mobility, strength, and overall functional capacity.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on exercise programs, home care plans, and preventative measures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and facility policies and procedures, including maintaining patient confidentiality.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate from a certified Physical Therapy program.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of acute hospital, inpatient experience.
  • Licensure: Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • COVID-19 Requirements: Must have COVID vaccine and booster.
