Our optical lab is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician to join our growing manufacturing operation.

10% shift differential added to base pay PLUS bi-weekly bonus opportunities, great PTO plan and benefits

Shift:   2nd (Sundays-Thursdays, 4:00pm - 12:30am)

Job Description

Expert Maintenance Technician responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment located in the optical manufacturing lab, acting with oversight in a team Lead role.  Duties include:

  • Providing leadership to the maintenance crew
  • Lead associates by ensuring they stay on task and in proper place for optimal workflow
  • Ensure work orders are handled to resolve machine issues, while minimizing down time affecting production efforts
  • Train associates as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Maintain Preventative Maintenance equipment logs and checklists
  • Service CNC Edgers, CNC Generators, Blockers
  • Follow company's Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, suggest safety measures 
  • Perform other tasks and lead functions as assigned
Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree/Technical School Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years experience in the maintenance, diagnosis and repair of complex equipment and industrial equipment (Electronics, CNC type equipment preferred)
  • Proven troubleshooting skills on complex equipment
  • Experience working with PLC's, programming
  • Experience in a team Lead role
  • Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical/electronic diagrams required
  • Optical manufacturing experience preferred
  • Must be able to read and write English
