Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPeoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking a Material Handler in partnership with a prominent client in Binghamton, NY within the Machining industry.Material Handler Job SummaryPay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour 1st Shift: 7:00a-3:30p / Mon – Fri Summary:The material handler position is an integral part of the facility operations. This position is responsible for the pick- up and movement of material from one department to another to fulfill the daily and weekly product production needs. Efficiency, attention to detail and safety are key components to this position.Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload finished and unfinished products.
  • Deliver material to designated departments.
  • Pick up finished goods and deliver to specific holding areas.
  • Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, cranes etc.
  • Pull material to fulfil current order demand for specific departments.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Material Handler Qualifications and Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2-3 years of material handling or Industry experience preferred.
  • Experience using warehouse equipment.
