An esteemed anesthesia practice in the Hudson, Florida area is actively searching for a skilled Nurse Anesthetist to join their dynamic team. As a Nurse Anesthetist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing a wide variety of surgical and medical procedures, including vascular, neurologic, obstetric, pediatric, ear-nose-throat (ENT), spine, regional, and outpatient cases.


  • Compensation for the Nurse Anesthetist position ranges from $315,000 per year.
  • This is a 1099 position, and the successful candidate will receive 6 weeks of vacation per year.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patients before, during, and after surgical or medical procedures.
  • Perform pre-operative evaluations, including patient assessments and medical history reviews.
  • Create and implement individualized anesthesia care plans for each patient.
  • Safely administer anesthesia agents and pain management techniques.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary during procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
  • Address any emergent situations that may arise during procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to anesthesia practice.

Schedule:

  • This position offers a flexible schedule with a typical four-day workweek.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Nurse Anesthetist is preferred.
  • The candidate must be in the process of acquiring a Florida license. However, applicants without a Florida license may also apply.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with poise.
