The Inventory Analyst is responsible for the inventory accuracy of the plant through the execution of regular cycle counts according to the organization’s cycle count policy, root cause analysis of any variances in the cycle counts and the implementation of improvements in the processes that impact inventory accuracy. Other duties include assisting in the overall organization of the warehouse and the execution of FIFO.



Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Monitor and ensure inventory accuracy of raw materials, purchased components, WIP and finished goods throughout the plant.

• Monitor FIFO and Warehouse Organization.

• Conduct Cycle Counts according to ERP Cycle Count Schedule.

• Conduct Physical Inventories if required according to the organization’s cycle counting policy.

• Review discrepancies and perform re-counts when counts are out of tolerance.

• Engage other departments to assist in root cause analysis and determine corrective actions for inventory discrepancies.

• Audit movements to ensure transactions are being performed through the ERP system.

• Ensure all material is labeled properly to safeguard the integrity of material traceability.

• Supports special projects requiring immediate data extraction, manipulation, reporting and other inventory related activities.

• Assist in SLOB analysis and actions as assigned.

• Support plant safety rules and safety observation process.

• Demonstrate safe use of tow-motors and other powered industrial equipment.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• 3+ years of inventory control experience.

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, and supply chain.

• Strong work ethic and strive for continuous improvement.

• Proven ability to work in a shop environment implementing and executing projects and tasks.

• Must possess good verbal and written communication skills and can interact well with all levels within the organization.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

• Experience with MRP/ERP systems.

• Understanding of warehouse / shop floor transactions.


Technology/Equipment: Proficiency in the use of technology including thorough understanding of Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
