Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction: Establish rapport with customers, explain necessary repairs, and justify costs. Follow up with customers.
  • Damage Assessment: Visually estimate damage to vehicles.
  • Documentation: Complete estimate sheets to document damage and repair requirements. Itemize parts and materials needed.
  • Cost Calculation: Calculate labor and painting costs to determine the total repair cost.
  • Repair Orders: Assign repair orders to the Production Coordinator.
  • Quality Control: Evaluate repair quality by Technicians and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Insurance Coordination: Understand insurance company estimates and check for accuracy.
  • Parts Management: Complete parts order sheets, explore alternative sources for hard-to-locate parts, and verify delivered parts.
  • Payment Handling: Receive payments from customers and insurance companies, coordinating with the Body Shop Receptionist.


Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Education: Relevant degrees such as Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Automotive or General Education.
  • Skills: Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., CCC Pathways), collision repair, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience: Familiarity with estimating processes, customer communication, and administrative tasks, minimum 3 years
