Job Overview:


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Massage Therapist to serve as a mentor to students in our massage therapy program. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various massage techniques, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to fostering the growth and development of future massage therapists.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Mentorship: Guide and support students through their educational journey, providing advice, feedback, and encouragement.
  • Demonstration: Perform and demonstrate a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, and other modalities as required by the curriculum.
  • Instruction: Assist in the delivery of both theoretical and practical aspects of massage therapy education, ensuring students understand the concepts and techniques.
  • Assessment: Evaluate student performance through hands-on assessments, providing constructive feedback to help students improve their skills.
  • Professional Development: Encourage students to develop a professional attitude and ethics, preparing them for a successful career in massage therapy.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure that students are practicing in a safe and hygienic manner, adhering to all school and industry regulations.
Qualifications:


  • Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in New Jersey
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a massage therapist. Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or training is highly desirable.
Skills:


Proficient in a variety of massage techniques.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to provide constructive feedback in a supportive manner.

Patience and enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring.

Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology related to massage therapy.

Compensation:


$25-$35 Per Hour
