Warehouse Associate

This role is integral to the overall business model in serving our customers. This role is responsible for helping prepare outgoing shipments, receiving incoming shipments, and assisting with inventory storage. Their duties will include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming/outgoing shipments for accuracy/defects, and assisting with order retrieval for shipment to customers. We are looking for candidates who are professional, accurate, and willing to learn.

Essential Functions:

• Processes the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
• Note any inaccuracies/damages of shipments
• Collaborate and communicate with all roles involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
• Track and update the status of incoming/outgoing shipments
• Promptly help unload/load trucks for deliveries and shipments if needed by the driver
• Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring products are put away accurately (pulling, stacking, stocking)
• Maintain order accuracy by packing/pulling/loading products accurately
• Position will require at times to be able to construct pallets/skids/crates for shipping.
• Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement 18+
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 6 months of logistics, retail, or customer service experience
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of time organization and urgency
• Able to work independently and within a team
• Ability to operate small power tools

• The physical demands described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
• Lifting: 70-80 lbs max
• Regularly required to lift, stand, bend, kneel, and move about facility.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse: Standard warehouse equipment (Forklift, pallet jack, pallet racking, crates, etc.)
• Standard Weekly Job Hours: 40 Hours (8:00AM - 4:30PM)
