Your role will include processing payments, handling customer inquiries, and assisting with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Interaction:

    • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Answer customer inquiries regarding service charges, repairs, and payment options.
    • Provide customers with invoices and explain charges if needed.

  • Payment Processing:

    • Accurately handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment.
    • Process customer payments, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and efficiently.
    • Issue receipts and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.

  • Record Keeping:

    • Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
    • Reconcile cash drawer at the end of each shift and report discrepancies to management.
    • Assist with filing and organizing service department paperwork.

  • Administrative Support:

    • Assist service advisors with scheduling customer appointments as needed.
    • Help maintain a clean and organized cashier area.
    • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the Service Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred, preferably in an automotive or service-related environment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
    • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Professional appearance and demeanor.
    • A positive attitude and a customer-focused mindset.
    • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Working Conditions:
  • Schedule: Must be available to work Monday-Friday and every other Saturday.
  • Environment: Primarily indoors in a professional automotive dealership setting.
