Job Summary:

The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for the following areas within our Warehouse Department: the monthly cycle count program and reconciling inventory counts that show discrepancies; reporting, and making cycle counts accurate in our ERP system: Acumatica; complete the production report and alert the Business Services team of any material shortages and if the jobs on the production report are ready for production. In this role you can expect to bend, stretch, use stair ladders, and walk around our Wearhouse in order to complete your daily tasks. You will collaborate with the following internal departments: Warehouse, Production, and Business Services.

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Wage: $22.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory Cycle Count:
    1. Maintain Inventory Sheet and lead monthly cycle count program. Maintain and distribute cycle count sheets.

    3. Reconcile any discrepancies with OP’s cycle count program or daily inventory queries.
  2. Incoming & Outgoing Materials:
    1. Enter purchase orders and order confirmation into Acumatica.
    2. Collaborate with Production Team Leads within our three facilities to forecast material needs and plan purchase orders.
  3. Shipping & Handling Orders:
    1. Schedule inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations.
    2. Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and issue instructions for loading products.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School/GED Education or equivalent experience
  • One year of inventory control or warehouse experience within a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to use a computer & Office365
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
