Forbes Bros Timberline Construction Inc. (FB Timberline) is seeking multiple Journeyman Linemen (full time, permanent) to support the operations team at our transmission line construction project near Aiken, SC.

The Journeyman Lineman (full-time) will work on our transmission project based near Aiken, SC. The successful candidate will have prior experience with transmission powerline construction and enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions and developing specialized skills at varied and challenging tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lives Forbes Bros. value of WE WORK SAFE & never compromising on safety in all aspects of our every day.
• Assemble, erect, and maintain steel, wood or concrete poles, towers and guy wires
• Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground power lines and cables, insulators, conductors, lightning arrestors, switches, transformers, street lighting and other associated equipment
• Splice, solder and insulate conductors and related wiring to connect power distribution and transmission networks
• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair high and low voltage transmission and distribution electrical grid
• Assist in the construction, maintenance, troubleshooting and removal of underground and overhead power lines and equipment
• Adhere to Forbes Bros Occupational Health and Safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other tasks related to this function as assigned

What We Are Looking For:

• Journeyman Lineman certification, is required
• Minimum two (2) years of industry experience as a Journeyman Lineman, preferably in transmission
• Able and willing to present a Class A commercial driver license (CDL) and an acceptable MVR
• Able and willing to work at various heights in varying extreme climates
• Able and willing to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions and environments, inclusive of heavy lifting
• Ability to work as a member of a dynamic team and adapt to changing tasks and locations
