Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about animal care, possess strong technical skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a Veterinary Technician at our hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to our patients and support to our veterinary team.


Responsibilities Include:

Assist veterinarians in examinations, treatments, and surgeries

Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and microbiology

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians

Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures

Provide compassionate nursing care to hospitalized patients

Maintain accurate medical records

Educate clients on preventive care, medications, and treatment plans

Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies


Qualifications:

Experience working as a veterinary technician

Proficiency in venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and radiography

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy clinical setting

Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and client service
