Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Supporting the overall day-to-day operations of Childrens Lighthouse.

Support policies, procedures, and systems to always ensure a safe and healthy environment in compliance with Childrens Lighthouse and State standards.

Participates responsibly in marketing and special events including open house, school events, etc.

Supports change required for continual compliance, improvement, and success of the school.

Recruits, hires, orients, trains, supervises, observes, and evaluates staff along with the School Director.

Manages, supports, and follows budget in compliance with Franchisee guidelines.

Represents Childrens Lighthouse to the public, community, parents, visitors, and staff with professionalism and integrity.

Attends/participates in meetings and trainings as directed.

Consistently follows through with all duties and responsibilities as assigned competently and timely.

Day to day operations in compliance with the quality standards of Childrens Lighthouse.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Professional presentation and attitude.

Ability to communicate with, motivate others, analyze, and solve problems, fostering a positive work environment.

Effective leader and role model at the school.

Ability to exercise appropriate, independent judgment calls.

Knowledge of State and local standards.

Knowledge of early child development and appropriate practices.

Ability to ensure a safe, loving, learning environment for children.

Counseling and behavior management skills required.

Strong effective, interpersonal skills

Ability to use technology as required and used by Childrens Lighthouse.

Participates in activities of professional and personal growth.
