Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring Press Operators for a client in Toledo, OH. The Press Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment to create and manufacture products. Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($16.00) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shift include 1st shift: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm | Monday through Thursday | Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis | May potentially have to work on Fridays at some point. Responsibilities of the Press Operator:
  • Must have one year experience of operating a punch press.
  • Must know general safety knowledge of press operations.
  • Must have knowledge of rivet machines and assembly operations.
  • Must be able to use inspection equipment.
  • Must be able to perform general press maintenance.
  • Must maintain quality standards.
  • Press operator should be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
Required Qualifications of the Press Operator:
  • Previous experience in press operating.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
  • Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
