Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Enclosure Assembly Technician to join a growing production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and some assembly experience. You will be responsible for assembling and testing enclosures according to specifications, ensuring the highest level of quality and functionality.

Pay: $24-$32/hr (depending on experience)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications to assemble components and fixtures accurately.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to cut, drill, and fabricate enclosure components with precision.
  • Conduct functional tests and quality inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues or discrepancies, collaborating with engineering and production teams as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize assembly processes and improve efficiency.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and stay updated on industry trends and advancements.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in electrical or mechanical assembly preferred.
  • Experience in carpentry within any industry but preferably in a manufacturing or engineering field.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools used in assembly processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision in a fast-paced environment.
