Yorktel is currently seeking a Data Analytics Analyst who will work cross functionally with the Operations, Information Management and IT departments to provide business data, information and insights to the business. They will assist with analyzing trends, identifying opportunities for improvement in core competency areas such as cost savings or order cycle times, and surface and tracking of critical KPIs. Additionally, they will be expected to assist with the maintenance and enhancement of the Corporate systems and tools supporting these objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Define, develop, and maintain reporting and analytics assets.
  • Assist with analyzing and documenting procedures and best practices around data quality, reporting, analytics and information management
  • Build ETL processes to collect data from multiple sources and deploy models in Azure Analysis Services.
  • Troubleshoot data accuracy issues using SQL Queries and Power BI reports.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives and provide the reporting, data and tools to support those objectives
  • Utilize Power BI, SSRS, Data Factory, and SQL Server for report and dashboard configuration.
  • Assist in maintaining IFS Cloud reporting platforms and the creation of custom reporting, lobbies, exports and interfaces
  • Customize, configure, and develop enhancements to existing business systems (IFS, Dynamics, CPQ, etc.)

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficiency with a data visualization tool (e.g., PowerBI. Tableau, JupyteR, Zoho, Google Charts.)
  • Proficiency with Smartsheets or similar web-based tools
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and database engineering concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies as needed

Leadership & Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This is not a managerial position; therefore, there is no supervisory responsibility.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, information management, data analytics, or equivalent.
  • Experience with enterprise data models, data warehouses, and business analytics.
  • Experience with ETL tools and data transformation.
  • Hands-on experience with relational database design, SQL, and reporting services.
  • Hands-on coding and development experience is a plus

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
