Accounts Payable Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable using QuickBooks Online and Ramp.
- Monitor the Accounts Payable email inbox. Work through and respond to inquiries and resolve questions/issues promptly.
- Handle accounts payable for separate entities and vendors.
- Analyze workflow processes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
- Ensure bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
- Process due invoices for payments.
- Order office supplies and household items for all programs.
- Prepare vendor reconciliations, identifying and reporting any applicable issues.
- Compare purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges.
- Process transactions and perform accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records, including the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and other financial systems.
- Manage relationships with external partners, including banks, auditors, and other financial service providers.
- Other tasks as directed.
