Your Role: Assistant Store Manager

As the gatekeeper for Customer Service and Satisfaction, you'll play a pivotal role in maximizing sales and profitability. Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure the store operates seamlessly through effective sales strategies, merchandise management, and customer-centric initiatives.


Your Impact:

Welcome and engage customers, creating an inviting atmosphere.

Assess store performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Optimize store profitability by controlling expenses and minimizing shrinkage.

Maintain merchandising standards, ensuring an appealing presentation.

Drive local marketing events to attract new customers and meet sales goals.

Foster woodworking activities and community involvement to boost store traffic.


What You Bring:

Woodworking knowledge

Energetic and self-motivated with excellent listening and communication skills.

Prior supervisory/leadership experience desirable.

1 to 3 years of retail sales experience, preferably with a similar product line.

Strong problem-solving and resolution skills.

Flexibility to work a retail schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
