Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and eager Trades Apprentice to join our team. This position will provide hands-on training and exposure to various aspects of plumbing, electrical work, and renovations. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch service.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist Tradesmen in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing, and electrical systems.
  2. Support the renovation team by participating in remodeling projects, including but not limited to drywall installation, painting, and flooring.
  3. Learn and adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and the team.
  4. Gain practical experience in troubleshooting and problem-solving for plumbing and electrical issues.
  5. Collaborate with experienced professionals to develop technical skills and knowledge in the trades industry.
  6. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring a clean and organized work area.
  7. Attend training sessions and courses to enhance your skills and stay updated on industry trends and regulations.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Enrolled or willing to enroll in a recognized trades apprenticeship program.
  3. Strong interest in plumbing, electrical work, and renovations.
  4. Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced trades professionals.
  8. Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy equipment and materials.
