Position: Delivery Driver
Location: Hutto, Texas
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles, such as dump truck, truck or truck and trailer, to transport landscape materials to designated locations. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe delivery
- Efficiently unload landscape materials in the designated location per customer or supervisor and in a safe manner. Ensure that materials are securely covered to prevent damage during transportation.
- Plan delivery routes to optimize and minimize travel time. Utilize GPS or navigate to various locations, ensuring on-time deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by communicating professionally with customers and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Represent the company in a positive manner at all times.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on delivery vehicles, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure and brakes, to ensure safe operation. Report any mechanical issues or concerns to management.
- Follow company safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries during deliveries. Use proper lifting techniques and personal equipment when handling heavy materials.
- Take pictures of deliveries and document address, type of material and yardage amounts and text them to the office.
- Collaborate with other team members, such as masons, landscapers and supervisors, to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure that materials are delivered according to project timelines.
- Be on time and ready to work daily. Must be able to work alone and stay focused on task.
Pay: Starting at 18.00 per hour based on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday – Friday with occasional overtime

Requirements:
- Valid class C driver's license with a clean driving record required. CDL license preferred but not required.
- Bilingual preferred but not required
- Experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
- Flexibility to work extended hours or weekends during peak seasons.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
