Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct dental exams and create detailed treatment plans.
  • Perform restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, and bridges.
  • Manage removable prosthodontics like dentures and partials.
  • Handle surgical procedures, including extractions, with a willingness to learn implants and bone grafting.
  • Perform endodontic treatments on anterior, premolar, and molar teeth. We refer out the crazy ones.
  • Educate patients on oral health and care options.
  • AZFD does not need its dentists to be experts in all areas of dentistry. We are looking for a competent dentist that takes pride in the work they provide. We encourage our dentists to further their knowledge and ability in a few expanded function areas of dentistry. We will support, promote, and help facilitate this growth.

Procedures:

  • Fixed dentistry (fillings, crowns, bridges, etc.)
  • Removable prosthodontics (dentures and partial dentures)
  • Endodontic therapy (including molars).
  • Clear aligners. We use SureSmile and have had great success with doing the "easy" cases.
  • Cosmetic dentistry,
  • We have a lot of technology in our office. We don't expect anyone to come to us with mastery of the specific tech we have (CBCT, CEREC, 3D printing, etc.). We just want to work with dentists that have a desire and are willing to learn and improve in their knowledge and skillset daily.

Requirements:

  • DDS/DMD from an accredited institution.
  • Arizona dental license.
  • 3+ years of experience practicing dentistry.
  • CPR and DEA certifications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with dental implants and CEREC technology.
