Cycle Counter

The ideal candidate should have the following attributes and/or skills:

  • High school diploma / GED
  • Experience working in the position in the automotive manufacturing industry
  • Electric Pallet jack/forklift certification preferred
  • Time management
  • Knowledge of Policy & Procedure
  • Understanding of cross-functional activities (departments like quality assurance, accounting, controlling & production)
  • SAP software experience preferred
  • 5 Why knowledge (problem solving)
  • 5S's good command
  • Written Communication, English Language Communication Skills
  • Health & Safety Systems

Main Duties

To perform regular counts to identify possible discrepancies in inventory quantities and reconcile discovered variances according to the approved policies and procedures. Requires strong reliance on accuracy, control, monitoring and coordination in order to confirm inventory & investigate count discrepancies. Assist with shipping, receiving & warehouse duties as directed by supervisor.

  • Perform daily cycle counts.
  • Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity.
  • Maintain product identification, location, and lot code accuracy.
  • Research inventory discrepancies.
  • Work with Inventory Control Coordinator in Holland to resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.
  • Open containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand.
  • Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products
  • Strive for 100% on time delivery while maintaining picking accuracy of customer orders.
  • Accurately pick, pack & ship customer orders.
  • Assist with other duties as required.
