Job Description

SkyRun is seeking an energetic Maintenance Technician to contribute to our continued success by maintaining our beautiful homes in the Estes Park area. You will be all about troubleshooting and fixing This position reports to our maintenance supervisor and will also work closely with guest services and operations.

This is a great opportunity for an dependable team player who wants to help drive the future of vacation rentals. The ideal candidate will be attentive, punctual, engaged and self-motivated, and have pride in their work.

Job Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and fix common household maintenance items
  • Basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting
  • Review and prioritize work orders in online system
  • Complete work orders in a timely and efficient manner, and update status in online system
  • Coordinate, call, and communicate with vendors as needed
  • Work directly with other maintenance techs and the front office personnel to fulfill guest and owner maintenance requests
  • Must be willing and able to perform manual labor duties including snow shoveling, mowing or other physical duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience with a variety of home maintenance tasks
  • The ability to multi-task and communicate well with other employees is a must for this position
  • Comfortable using a computer
  • Clean, professional appearance
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Must be able to access and work in private homes in the mountains during all seasons. Will include reaching overhead and below the waist, and bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, and twisting.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time.
  • Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds. Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to speak English fluently, Spanish is a plus
  • Past experience in hot tub or pool maintenance is preferred, although not required
  • Flexible schedule a must
  • Must be able to work weekends, evenings, holiday and on call

Employment Type:

Full time hourly position

Rewards:

  • Salary range: $19.00 - $20.00/hour
  • Paid time off program
