We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Per diem Specimen Accessioner Client Services at West Long Branch Pathology Lab
The Part-Time Specimen Accessioner Client Services Essential Responsibilities:
- Receiving, sorting and providing accurate data entry and transcription for all the specimens entering the lab.
- The Specimen Accessioner/Client Services will perform data entry functions which include: input, record, verify, and edit various patient and laboratory information.
- The Accessioner will accurately assign accession numbers generated for each specimen to cassettes.
- The Specimen Accessioner/Client Services will cordially answer phones, handle customer inquiries and sends specimens to reference labs.
- Receives, sorts and processes all incoming specimens for testing.
- Verifies the accuracy of the number of specimens received against manifests provided by practices.
- Accurately enters/transcribes patient demographics and orders appropriate tests with required speed and accuracy into the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
The Part-Time Specimen Accessioner Client Services must have the following qualifications and experience:
High school diploma or GED
Data Entry/Transcription experience preferred
Customer Service experience preferred
Specimen Accessioner/Client Services minimum of one year of laboratory experience as a Specimen Accessioner
Job Type: Per-diem
This position starts at 7pm
