Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionAmbitious and growing law firm looking for a Workers' Compensation Team Lead to assist in leading a departmental team, ensuring the high-quality management of cases.

This position is situated within the Workers' Compensation Department at Abramson Labor Group. You will have the chance to collaborate with a team and work closely with the manager to offer direction and support to team members.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review cases within your team's workflow and ensure compliance with case requirements
  • Train new team members
  • Provide guidance to the team and assign tasks
  • Allocate tasks using case management software
  • Accountable for managing individual caseload and assigned tasks (filing paperwork, scheduling appointments, etc.)
  • Communicate with relevant parties involved in a case
  • Maintain case notes
  • Assessing tasks that need attention when team members are absent.


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Effective leadership abilities, capable of delegating tasks while also being hands-on
  • Highly motivated, results driven, high energy and a sense of urgency
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to observe details on a computer or other electronic screens
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently with little supervision
  • Client focused, with the commitment to outstanding customer service and the ability to deliver results
  • Adaptable, capable of embracing change with a positive outlook
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Leadership experience(preferred)
  • Legal office/Paralegal experience(preferred)
  • Knowledge of CA Workers’ Compensation(preferred)
  • General understanding of the workers’ compensation system(preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Bilingual (English + Spanish) (preferred)
