Title: Sanitization Technician & Support

Overtime Status: Non-Exempt

Employment Status: Full-Time

Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00 /Hr

The hiring pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00 per hour based on skills, education, and experience relevant to this role.

Effective the first of the month following the date of hire, employees are eligible to participate in the following Inventprise employee benefit programs:

• Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, or HSA:  Currently Inventprise contributes 80% toward the Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage for the employee, and enrolled spouse and dependents.  Medical plans are currently provided through Premera Blue Cross.
• 401(k) program: Inventprise contributes 3% of employee base pay each pay period to their 401(k) account. Employee contributions are at the discretion of the employee.
• Paid Time Off: Employees start PTO accruals at the rate of 5.83 hours each pay period - annualized equivalent of 140 hours/year.

Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

• Set and maintain PPE Stocks for daily operations in F4 Facility.
• Operate Dishwasher and wash lab material as needed.
• Upkeep Washer room.
• Perform weekly safety equipment checks of eyewash fire extinguishers and safety shower.
• Load and operator autoclave with materials needed for sterilization.
• Clean and organize Wash areas / Material Prep room.
• Be part of manufacturing Spill kit team and the clean up that follows.
• Check / Monitor / dispose off manufacturing dept daily waste.
• Collect biohazard waste from manufacturing labs and place in allotted Stericycle bins.
• Maintaining a stock of:
  • Washing supplies/Chemicals.
  • Autoclave supplies (sterilization indicator tape, Tyvek pouches, elastic bands, etc.)
  • PPE supplies: shoe covers, lab coats, beard nets, hair nets disposable gloves.
  • Material needed for each batch from Warehouse.

Job Specifications:

Required Qualifications:

• High school degree or in progress towards an AA degree with a scientific background.
• Broad experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Highly organized with attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to dress in sterile gowning in the form of scrubs and clean room coveralls.
• Ability to handle and work with potentially hazardous chemicals per standard operating procedure.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
  

Mental Demands:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with an attention to detail
  
• Able to work independently with changing priorities.
  

Working Conditions:

• Extended periods of time on the computer.
• Extended periods of time on your feet.
• Working in warm environment wearing sterile gowning.
• Working with chemicals per standard operating procedure.
