Molded Dimensions Group, located in Marshfield WI, offers a wide range of specialty products in the custom polyurethane marketplace. Years of service to our customers in agriculture, manufacturing, industry, government and mining have helped mold us for success


We are currently seeking a skilled Setup Technician to set up and maintain process machines in our casting department. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up machines for each run and repair manufacturing equipment used in the production of urethane parts, as they arise. Will work in a fast-paced environment, have strong mechanical skills and "float" as production support when needed.

 

4 day work week  Monday – Thursday, 5am – 3pm

 

Key Responsibilities:


Setup and maintain machines to ensure that molding equipment operates efficiently with minimal downtown.

 

1.  Maintenance and Repair


  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on casting manufacturing machinery and equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and conduct necessary repairs.
  • Replace or repair machine components as needed.

 

2.  Troubleshooting


  • Quickly respond to machinery breakdowns and effectively troubleshoot issues to minimize production downtime.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes of equipment failures.

 

3.  Production Support


  • Float to other areas when needed.

 

4.  Safety and Compliance


  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
  • Ensure all machinery is in compliance with safety standards and recommend improvements where necessary.

 

5.  Collaborate with production staff and schedule maintenance activities during non-peak production times to avoid any downtime and disruptions.

 

Qualifications:

 

  1. High School Diploma or GED
  2. 3-5 years of experience in machinery maintenance in a manufacturing environment
  3. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
  4. Must be able to read blueprints and assembly drawings.
  5. Hands-on experience with various tools and diagnostic equipment.
  6. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Be Reliable
