TTL, a steadily growing engineering design firm – now more than 450 employees strong – needs a driller helper to join our Tuscaloosa team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for helping with safe and efficient drilling functions and maintaining our equipment. This is no desk job – you’ll be in the field lifting and assembling (or disassembling) drilling pipe and augers, operating small pumps and air compressors, shoveling material, and assisting with sample retrieval. Enjoy driving trucks? Good, because we’ll need someone to tow trailers or equipment onto and off job sites reliably and responsibly.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
  • Class A CDL desirable
  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Willing to travel with overnight stays
  • Able to regularly lift 50-100 pounds
  • Capable of working outdoors in all types of weather
