Job Description:
We are looking to hire a professional Medical Biller that has home health/skilled nursing billing experience. You will be responsible for organizing patient medical costs and sending invoices to collect payment from patients and their insurers. Their duties include calling patients to discuss payment and develop reasonable payment plans, entering patient data into administrative systems and recording information about outstanding claims.
Responsibilities:
- Perform posting charges.
- Perform completion of claims to payers
- Conduct duties in a professional and timely fashion.
- Submit billing data to the appropriate insurance providers.
- Process claims.
- Resolve denial instances.
- Achieve maximum reimbursement for services provided.
- Deploy, maintain and report on various programs.
- Do Medicare reviews.
- Do Medi-Cal reviews.
- Conduct audits.
- Other duties as needed.

Requirements:
- The Billing Specialist Supervisor positionrequiresthe minimum of a high school diploma.
- Higher education such as an associated or bachelors degree ispreferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial, Medicaid, Medicare Part B/Primary Care billing,required.
- Minimum 3 years of healthcare experience and a minimum of 3 years of leading a medical billing team,required.
- A certification in billing from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), or the Practice Management Institute (PMI)isrequired.
