GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

Under minimal supervision, a candidate must be proficient with troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on cryogenic tanker trailers. This position requires a well-rounded individual willing to be trained to perform all duties in accordance with prescribed safety, regulatory, and standard operating policies and procedures. The candidate should possess good verbal and written communication skills including good interpersonal skills with internal departments and management. The candidate must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and be familiar with navigating databases and other maintenance programs and use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

LOCATION: George West, TX (Yard)

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Stabilis Solutions retains the right to modify or change the duties or essential functions of the job at any time.

· Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain cryogenic vaporization, storage and transfer equipment, to include cryogenic pumping systems, mechanical piping, valves, and pressure relief systems.

· Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment trailers.

· Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain generators, compressors, and pumps.

· Perform duties related to the maintenance, operation, and mobilization of Mobile LNG equipment, in accordance with current practices and regulations.

· Plan and execute routine and preventive maintenance activities including identification of parts, maintenance tasks, and completion of all required documentation, to include using a computerized maintenance management system.

· Maintain shop, yard, and buildings, and keep work area clean and organized.

· Troubleshoot, inspect for detection of irregularities and malfunctions, and perform repairs on various stationery and rotating machinery and equipment.

· Assemble and disassemble equipment according to direction and technical documentation, using hand and power tools.

· Operate hoisting and lifting devices and/or contribute to lifting plan, job method statements and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) development for critical activities.

· May need to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.

· Actively participates in all aspects of maintenance activities, providing input in meetings,

planning, and strategy development and reviews.

· Complete Log Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures on equipment and assure equipment is safe to work on and place back in service.

· Must be able to follow repair manuals and operating procedures.

· Perform routine maintenance, as well as non-routine repairs, to Company assets.

· May be required to lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble, and maintain vehicles, and perform other routine maintenance work.

· Verify that equipment is DOT compliant

· Maintains and calibrates all pneumatic and electronic instrumentation as required.

· Maintains the mobile LNG tools and spare parts to facilitate an efficient work environment

· Maintains safe and compliant work practices.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High school diploma or GED. Technical mechanical certification a plus. Certified DOT Mechanic a plus.

· Must have good basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic theory and application and be able to learn and use manuals and other resources to apply that knowledge in the requirements of the job.

· Experience with cryogenic refrigeration, gas processing, and/or steam preferred.

· Must be able to identify components on a piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) and locate them on equipment and in the field.

· Able to read and comprehend service manuals, owner's manuals, written procedures, and other company documentation.

· Electrical troubleshooting skills are a plus

· Must possess a valid driver’s license.

· Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people/professionals/customers.

· Able to work independently in a demanding environment.

· Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office software, and the ability to make simple mathematical computations.

· Able to follow written and oral instructions.

· Able to be a self-starter and effectively use time management skills.

· Able to multi-task and prioritize.

· Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other Stabilis employees, and customers.

· Must be able to operate company equipment and vehicles.

· Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

? Activities involve standing, sitting, driving, stooping, kneeling, climbing, lifting, and carrying, transferring objects, reaching, pushing, and pulling. May need to lift up to 50 pounds.

? This role requires fine motor dexterity, good vision and hearing and clear speaking ability.

? Field Environment: The climate and/or temperature may be uncomfortable at times, as much of the work is performed outside.

? Office equipment will be used, including copy machines, telephones, keyboards, and computers.

? Non-smoking and drug-free workplace.

? Ability to travel to other sites as needed, with possible overnight stays. The company reimburses for travel if using a personal vehicle – or use of company or rental vehicle may be provided.

WORK SCHEDULE:

The Maintenance Mechanic position is a full-time position with some expected overtime (may require up to 50 hours/week at times), and availability to work weekends as required by the business.
