Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:

Responsible for the overall management of the trust department duties of the Trust Officer include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the bank's trust programs including, but not limited to, Estates, Personal Trusts, Conservatorships, IRAs and Qualified Retirement Plans, Personal and Corporate Agencies and Escrows.
  • Serve as the Bank's liaison between the Bank and Principals, Beneficiaries, Heirs and the remainder of the department accounts.
  • Plan, conduct and record quarterly Board of Directors Trust Committee meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong positive relationships to effectively retain new and existing customers, agents, vendors and other organizations or institutions.
  • Responsible for managing direct staff.


Requirements:

A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance or legal studies is required. Juris Doctor/Attorney licensure, Certified Public Accountant licensure, Certified Financial Planner or Certified Trust or Financial Advisor designation required. Five or more years of experience in trust management or active law practice required.
