Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGeotemps, Inc. is looking for a Warehouse Technician that can provide high quality work within the safety standards of the company. This is a temporary position that would last around 3-4 months. The Warehouse Technician would be working around 25–30-hours a week, Monday-Friday. This Warehouse Technician should be able to operate heavy equipment such as a forklift. They should be able to organize, lift heavy objects, and be a general helper to other experienced team members and experienced technicians. Must demonstrate good time management practices and finish projects on schedule. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operating a Forklift
  • Heavy lifting; around 50lbs
  • Ability to operate basic hand tools.
  • Follow safe work procedures and best practices.
  • Handle material requests and issues at the warehouse counter based on established warehouse procedures. This will include knowledge of inventory locations and proper information input and handling.
  • Must have general safety knowledge of the Warehouse.
  • Active in, and supportive of, all programs instituted by the client.
  • Keeping shelves stocked and the Warehouse clean; including sweeping floors, dusting the area, and maintaining a neat appearance inside the warehouse and lay-down yards.
  • Operating forklifts/overhead cranes when needed.
  • Assist in the shipping and receiving of materials either by schedule or direction.
  • Must be able to carry out assigned duties with minimal supervision.
  • Punctuality and regular attendance are required.
  • Willingness to perform other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the company.
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures including, but not limited to safety, environmental, and confidentiality.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & TRAINING:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred Warehousing/Logistical Experience.
  • Experience with operating Forklifts
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • Positive attitude and interact well with others.
  • Work in a team environment.
  • A valid Driver’s License.
COMPENSATION: $22.00-23.00/hr
