Gradient, an environmental consulting firm, is seeking a high-energy individual to assist colleagues and clients by applying knowledge of regulatory toxicology and chemistry to projects involving chemical compliance, product stewardship, and green chemistry-based alternatives assessments.

Expertise in evaluating chemical hazards under the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) is preferred. Knowledge of TSCA and other international chemical compliance schemes (e.g., REACH), as well as an understanding of developing green chemistry-based hazard initiatives is highly desired. Experience with changing landscape of SDS requirements also highly valued. Must possess solid technical and communication skills, especially writing, and be capable of designing and coordinating large projects. Position requires a Masters and/or Ph.D. in toxicology or related discipline.

Compensation Statement:
Gradient employees are recognized for their contributions and have the prospect to plan for future career development. We have an excellent track record growing leaders within our firm. Base salary is only part of your overall total compensation. The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $65k - $110k. Numerous factors are taken into consideration including education/training, experience, and geographical location, all of which are appraised during the interview process. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
