Our client is seeking a Senior Level Mechanical Engineer to work out of either our Albany, NY or Meriden, CT.

The Senior Mechanical Engineer will lead, organize, manage and execute Mechanical Engineering work within the current project portfolio in the Northeast.

Responsibilities:

  • Business development and client relations.

  • Perform HVAC, HVAC controls, chillers, boiler, water distribution, ductwork, plumbing, and fire protection systems design for clients primarily focused in the Northeast.

  • Portfolio and project management.

  • Engineering production.

  • Provide on the job training support to junior department members.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate has a consultant background and see’s the big picture.

  • Eight (8) + years of Mechanical Engineering experience, especially with air handling and distribution systems, ventilation/exhaust, hydronic, HVAC, building controls, and process piping systems.

  • Firm understanding of industry standards, regulations, and codes.

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited 4-year institution.

  • PE license is highly desired but not required.
