About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a dynamic Senior Controls Engineer to join the hive on behalf of our clients. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in custom automation and precision machining. If you're passionate about engineering and have a knack for developing world-class automation systems, we want to meet you

Your Mission:
  • Prepare control systems designs and utilize AutoCAD to prepare drawings: including power distribution, PLC, main and station panel layouts, console layouts, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation.
  • Write and document software review and take ownership of budgets and schedules.
  • Work with the Project Manager to develop cost to completes and release dates Coordinate with the
  • Controls Assembly Department during the build phases to provide efficient and timely solutions to problems.
  • Lead and develop the Controls Design Department through mentorship of Level I and Level II.
  • Controls Engineers Develop preliminary project schedules Debug software after power-up to develop the machine into a production-worthy system.
  • Participate as a team member during the installation phase of the project.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering 7+ years' experience in controls engineering related to custom automation.
  • At least 3 years of design experience utilizing AutoCAD software required independent thought and decision-making abilities.
  • Management and supervisory skills Extensive experience in PLCs, HMIs, Robotics, Servos, and vision systems.
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be a United States citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend work as job duties demand.
  • Travel will be 20% or more per year
