Job Overview: As an Assembler at our Golf Cart Assembly Plant, you will be a vital part of our production team responsible for building golf carts to the highest quality standards. Reports to the Assembly Team Lead - Golf Cart Assembly


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assembly:
    • Follow detailed assembly instructions to build golf carts according to specifications.
    • Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble components accurately and efficiently.
  2. Quality Control:
    • Inspect parts and components for quality and accuracy before assembly.
    • Report any defects or issues to the Quality Inspection team or Team Lead.
  3. Teamwork:
    • Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and ensure seamless assembly line operations.
    • Maintain effective communication with colleagues and supervisors.
  4. Safety Compliance:
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
    • Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
  5. Inventory Management:
    • Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring the correct use of parts and materials during assembly.
    • Notify the Materials Planning team of any shortages or discrepancies.
  6. Efficiency and Productivity:
    • Strive to meet or exceed production goals and assembly schedules.
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and diagrams.
  • Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry moderate weights.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
