SENIOR POSITION. Monday - Friday 5x8's days Job Summary: Performs ultrasound technical duties for imaging heart muscle and functions. Creates images of the heart, cardiac chambers, valves and vessels for the purpose of assessing heart functions and diagnoses. Collaborates closely with cardiologists, performing the technical aspects of examinations, evaluating findings and reporting them to cardiologists. Proficient clinician who provides clinical care efficiently and effectively using a high level of technical and organizational skills as well as critical thinking ability. Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelor?s): Preferred Three years' technical experience: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Currently certified, or eligible to be certified, with a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from American Registry of Diagnostic MedicalSonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI): Required: Required Echocardiography (ECG) certification: Preferred Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or CCI Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS): Required
