Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Excalibur Group is currently seeking Licensed Clinical Social Workers to work out of Hyattsville, Landover and Temple Hills, MD to support a local contract.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health, emotional well-being, and social functioning.
  • Diagnose mental health disorders based on assessment findings and DSM criteria.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients' needs and goals, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address clients' emotional and behavioral concerns.
  • Offer immediate support and intervention during mental health crises or emergencies.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources within the community, including healthcare, social services, and support networks.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, psychologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care.
  • Educate clients and the community about mental health issues, coping strategies, and preventative measures.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including assessment notes, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines outlined by professional licensing boards and organizations, such as the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
Requirements:
  • Education: A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW).
  • Licensure: Must be licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Maryland.
  • Must be Prince George’s County resident.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred
  • Minimum three years providing supported employment and/or vocational services to adults.
  • Maintain licensure through ongoing professional development.
  • Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with clients, collaborating with colleagues, and advocating for clients' needs.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ethical practice and adherence to professional codes of conduct and confidentiality standards.
  • Possess cultural competence and sensitivity to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds and communities.

PAY
  • $72K - $77K

HOURS OF OPERATION
Mon. – Fri. 8:30am – 5pm
Except Federal Holidays
