Reports to: Construction & Facilities Maintenance Manager

Position Summary: Aldevra LLC is currently seeking Technical Writer to support the Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA) in White Hall, AR. The Technical Writer is responsible for producing high-quality technical documents that support our products and services. This role requires a blend of writing expertise and advanced computer skills. This position is contingent upon contract award.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Work with Management of Change (MOC) proposer to produce drawings from sketches, existing drawings, models, or verbal instructions and ensure that the drawings and SOP changes convey the correct information.
• Follow the appropriate work instructions when developing, updating and maintaining SOP/HA files and documents.
• Responsible for developing between four and six new SOPs as selected by the Directorate of Engineering and Technology and the Process Documentation Coordinator (PDC).
• Responsible for creating, updating and/or modifying between 10 and 20 drawings, to include electrical, mechanical, mechanical equipment, and architectural drawings and uploading them into the drawing database, and Plant Databooks.
• Utilize computer assisted drafting (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, and Solid Works.
• Present for all Hazard Analysis Working Groups (HAWGs) and Pre-Operational Survey meetings related to assigned projects
• Update all drawings, procedures, plant data books etc. as necessary.
• Responsible for generating/drafting, updating and/or modifying technical reports.
• Write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Shall possess a Bachelor’s degree in any field of study.
• Have three years of working experience as a Technical writer.
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, a Technical Writer shall possess 10 years of experience as a Technical Writer.
• Valid driver's license
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Excellent and accurate written communication
• Proficiency in MS Office, and ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
• Excellent attention to detail; accurate data entry
• Customer Focused and team-oriented work ethic
• Able to multi-task efficiently and accurately, focusing on quality
