PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Switchgear Project Coordinator is primarily responsible for efficiently supporting the needs of internal customers for Enterprise orders, including IEM Field Service, Enterprise sales, and Project Management


Field Service Support:

  • Coordinate with Scheduling, Materials, and Enterprise Project Management teams to ensure timely fulfillment of post-delivery field service requests.
    1. Update Procore with order tracking information
    2. Process RMA requests

Delivery coordination

  • Provide regular updates on shipping including POD, BOL, Pre-ship / Delivery pictures and delivery updates /tracking
    1. Coordinate shipments based on delivery region and date requirements to reduce cost without negatively impacting customer deliverables
    2. Enter short ship and direct purchased part requests to ensure prompt delivery
    3. Update Enterprise report to reflect current factory shipping dates, estimated delivery dates
    4. Collaborate with shipping team to ensure Orders and Field service items are shipped and closed as required in the system.

VMI support

  • Maintain and Manage internal VMI Inbound process
    1. Create Barcodes for LV shipments to external storage facility
    2. Create Inbound document
    3. Email pre-ship notifications and documentation to storage vendor
    4. Upload documents to vendor portal
    5. Manage close out of Internal production lines

SUPERVISION OF PERSONNEL:

  • None

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical Degree (BS) preferred or at least 2 years’ experience in associated manufacturing field.


PHYSICAL/MENTAL/ENVIRONMENTAL:

Physical Demands:

Activities: Sitting – 50% Walking/Standing – 50%

Lifting: Frequently lift up to 30lbs. Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Bend: Ability to bend, squat, crawl and climb.

Vision: Long periods of close work on computer screen and ability to see small or detailed items.

Mental Demands: Interpret, analyze, research and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Environment: Climate controlled office space and exposure to outdoor conditions such as excessive cold, excessive heat, noise/vibration and dust.
