Summary:

As an inside sales representative, you will be part of an energetic team of professionals who are committed to educating customers and providing superior service. Inside Sales is a valued member of the sales force and resource for ideas regarding process improvements, marketing strategies and sales tactics. This position is fully remote, but candidates must be located in Texas and willing to work on a Central Standard Time (CST) schedule.


Essential functions:

  • Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining orders
  • Builds and maintains relationships with all pharmacy contacts at the local hospital level
  • Develops strategic plans to introduce products for cross- and up-sell
  • Engage prospective and current customers in a 100% virtual setting, driving end-to-end sales process
  • Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends and identifying sales opportunities
  • Develops sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new account, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations, and preparing quotations
  • Fills orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date, and explaining stock-outs
  • Develops accounts by checking a customer’s buying history, suggesting related and new items, and explaining value
  • Maintains communication equipment by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems.
  • Maintains and improves quality results by following standards and recommending improved policies and procedures
  • Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities
  • Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
  • Explores opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Focus on Buy and Ship Now customers
  • Other duties as needed


Requirements:

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors’ degree in a related field and/or 3+ years’ experience

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Strong over-the-phone communication skills while speaking to customers
  • Specialty pharmaceutical or 503B industry experience
  • High energy and motivated self-starter
  • Time management abilities
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Strong Presentation skills
  • Ability to travel occasionally
