Job Description: As a Customer Associate at Global Partners, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their inquiries, managing transactions, and supporting various customer service functions. Your role will involve creating a welcoming environment, addressing customer needs, and contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
- Provide detailed information about products, services, promotions, and company policies.
- Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure a positive and friendly customer experience for all clients.
Sales Support:
- Assist customers in selecting products and offer recommendations based on their needs.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments, provide change, and issue receipts.
- Maintain accurate transaction records and address any discrepancies promptly.
Operational Support:
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise according to company standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking items and reporting shortages.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including handling routine cleaning tasks.
Team Collaboration:
- Work effectively with team members to achieve store goals and maintain high standards of service.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about store policies and procedures.
- Support other retail tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer applications.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in customer service or related fields are a plus.
