Location: Westborough, MASchedule: 4 Day 12 Hour Shift 6:00 - 6:00 Day or NightPay: $17-$19
Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining plastic manufacturing machinery, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate plastic manufacturing machinery according to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Monitor machine parameters, adjust settings, and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of produced goods to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to address and resolve any product defects or deviations from standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure continuous operation.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, making necessary repairs or coordinating with maintenance personnel.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure and accident-free work environment.
  • Participate in safety training programs and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including machine logs, downtime reports, and quality control documentation.
  • Provide timely and detailed reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the plastics industry.
  • Technical proficiency in operating and maintaining plastic manufacturing machinery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
