Qualifications/Requirements:
High school diploma / GED
Minimum of 1 year experience in a Quality control lab and/or minimum of 5 years' experience working in a chemical manufacturing environment.
Ability and willingness to work a rotating schedule
Desired Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Chemistry or Environmental Health with laboratory experience Working knowledge of SAP Experience working with lab equipment such as Gas Chromatograph, HPLC, FTIR and Atomic Absorption Knowledge of wet chemistry methodology including automated titrations, Brookfield viscosities, solid analysis and reagent and standard preparations.
Knowledge of waste management regulations and guidelines Mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn general repair and maintenance of QC equipment HAZMAT, RCRA and DOT training Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously Knowledge of ISO standards, quality procedures and audit techniques Knowledge of Quality Control concepts and their application Strong oral and written communication skills Self-starter, team player Strong math and computer skills
